Venus Lights and Lamps Co. is the pioneer lighting store in Bacolod City. Started in 1976, it steadily made a name for itself through the years as a one stop lighting shop offering a wide array of lighting products and electrical supplies for its customers.
Back then, it operated under the business name of Bacolod Venus Enterprises, leasing a modest space at Emilia Bldg. Lacson Street, Bacolod City. And for over 36 years, it has been serving the lighting needs of the city populace as well as those of outlying towns and cities in Negros Island, and occasionally as far as Iloilo province.
In order to address the worsening traffic congestion in recent years along Lacson Street and the lack of ample parking spaces for its customers, the construction of the Venus Center building along Burgos Extension corner 3rd road in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod was initiated in the year 2011. Although under the same management, the company acquired a much needed facelift with its new building, an accessible location as well as a new business name – Venus Lights & Lamps Company. The official blessing of the new edifice and inauguration of the new store took place in February 2012.
More than ever, the management of Venus Lights and Lamps Co. commits and gives itself fully to the task of meeting the challenging needs of its customers and the buying public, and to ensure that these are more than satisfactorily met. Innovative lighting products, quality merchandise and up to date lighting styles shall constantly be made available to its customers at the best prices possible. This shall remain as the continuing thrust and topmost goal of Venus Lights and Lamps Co. as it endeavors to best serve the lighting requirements of its patrons. In so doing, the company has earned for itself a respected place and a solid reputation in the local business community, and thus being acclaimed and widely accepted as the premier lighting store in Bacolod.
